Bookworm

This spring Henry's class has started a reading program to prepare them for homework in kindergarten. Two to three times a week he brings home a reading folder. Inside is a book that he can read and a log for us to sign with a comment. He then is responsible for putting everything in his bookbag to take back to school.

I have absolutely loved this (obviously), and I've noticed him reading with a more confident, less shy voice. I catch him reading to himself as well.

This particular book is an old one, without words, that we used when we were teaching him how to tell a linear story. After bath one night he brought it into bed with him.
