I've been waiting for Henry to make a comment about the many homeless people we see next to traffic lights. I knew the day would come. However, I didn't expect this.
"Mom, can we take him home?"
"We can't."
"Why?"
"I know this is hard to understand, but we don't know if he is a good man. He may be very nice, but he may be dangerous. We don't talk to strangers."
(He thinks for a moment.)
"When you and Dad met each other, you were strangers."
Yep, at 6.5 years old, he's too smart for me.
