Leading up to Christmas

After several months off (his call), Henry decided to go back to Mighty Dragons. We were so pleased his anxiety had ended and he was back to his favorite physical activity.

Reading Christmas books every night is a treasured pastime for our family.

Henry made his first gingerbread train.

Henry, Abel and Eli admired, crashed, and played with the new Christmas train at the Williams' house.

Santa came to Legend Oaks! Henry brought laughter from all the adults when he sidestepped over to Santa, cupped his hands around his mouth, and shouted, "I really like trains, dude!"
Then, he came a little closer to accept his gift, a stuffed Santa.

We enjoyed decorating our tree...

watching Rudolph...

finding Buddy the Elf each morning…

a going-away party for friends...

and the Carrboro-Chapel Hill Christmas parade.

Mommy also thoroughly enjoyed adult activities at church, like serving coffee and buns for the first time at the Moravian Love Feast. I also had a lovely brunch at the parsonage of our Pastor of Spiritual Formation and women's bible study leader, Mitzi Johnson. We had a wonderful Advent!
