"Can we read the Jesus book?"

Last night we finished The Jesus Storybook Bible, having entered the story somewhere around the Garden of Gethsemane. We haven't read from it each night during Lent, but pretty often. I've been thrilled with Henry's enthusiasm, but nothing could have prepared me for last night.

"Can we start over tomorrow?"

I answered, "Of course, we can start over tomorrow." He took the book from me and looked through it silently for a few minutes before going to bed.
