Last fall I noticed Henry enjoying a game of soccer at a classmate's birthday party. He didn't know what he was doing, but he was laughing, running, and clearly having a great time. I asked him if he would like to play soccer when teams started up again in the spring. "Yes!" So, I quickly found a low-key program for beginning players and signed him up.
The big day arrived and he felt pretty cool in his new apparel. But would he actually play?
Yes!
