"Oh my, that building is really so tall, Mama! It's giant!"
These words came from the backseat last night as we drove downtown for supper at Pizzeria Toro. Our boy loves the city. Small, large, in-between. He loves them all.
When Henry made his first trip to a big city he was mere weeks old, but the next time he was 2 years old and fell completely in love with Boston.
A few months later he was head over heels for Manhattan. High above the traffic, in the New York Athletic Club, it was all I could do to keep him from climbing over the rails as he watched the "cars! buses! horses!" below. The following morning we went up so high, you could only see treetops.
I have to say, this makes me wonder... Will he leave his dear old parents one day for a bigger city, or will the Triangle do?
Only time will tell!
Probably, after all, you left your dear old parents!
